You think that's enough carbs to keep up the pace???
I told you you have mastered the septolet. It suits your writing. Well done!

Sounds like someone is having a rather unhealthy breakfest and then going to have a cardio test??? ~L~ I hope that they're only going to go work out and not see a doc. Interesting poem, wonderful picture to go with it. :)

Yep, a cardio test is what I was trying to imply in my little satire :-) Brooke

Hi Brooke,
This one is fantastic. I still have a smile on my face. Great job.
The home fries sound really good about now.

Ellie - if I eat this late at night I get heart burn! :-) Thanks so much, Brooke
-
I shouldn't eat this late, either. I better get ready for bed, so I don't! Good night!

ROFL okay, so are we super-confident or expecting to bomb out anyway and just don't care? (Boss's theory: build up the carbs for energy!) Grand use of the septolet here, Brooke, such a contrasting picture, love it!

Louise, thank you - after the dogwood tree I figured funny was a good way to go for this next poem :-) Brooke

And funny it is! My boss is no poetry fan but he laughed when I read it out!
-
you read my poetry to your boss? LOL
-
Yup - I read all sorts of stuff out to the boss, from letters to the paper (online) to stuff about F1 to stuff from FanStory! And he spends a fair bit of time sending me silly emails. Just saw a great one of a kitten keeping a dog from pinching its food - one quick claw to the nose, whack!

hey brooke,
you're funny! what a wonderful way to get the message across that we all need to be eating better. except on Sunday. I reserve that day to eat a little better than I should! lol

Deb, I didn't want everyone to think I'm all serious/saintly after the dogwood tree - figured I'd remind people I can laugh LOL Thanks so much, Brooke

Cute poem, Brooke. It has a touch of humor that I like but is not overly silly. I have not written a septolet before, but this seems like a great one.

LOL! I love this - it's so totally me! Eat a bunch of junk, and then it's fitness time! I'm getting myself out of that habit, but it's oh so hard. Tomorrow morning will see if I can crawl out of bed for a workout.
Thanks for sharing this with us!

Actually, treadmill test was implying a trip to the doctor for heart-problem testing, which makes it even worse than eating junk and then having to work out :-) Thanks so much for your most generous review and great comments :-) Brooke

I know what it is. ;) I was comparing it to my workout woes. It's about the closest thing I have for comparison. :)

Hahaha.. comedy poetry. I am amused! This is fun... One wonders how that treadmill test went.
Read cleanly, and had me snerking. Good work.
I'm hungry now...

Hmmm, hungry - perhaps you need to reread the second verse. LOL Thanks, Brooke :-)
