Oh! Goodness! Exquisite! Strong, emotive imagery. Rich in cadence. Begs to be read aloud. An extremely well-written vilanelle, and one that I shall remember for very long time - for its form and more importantly, it message.

This is a very interesting and educational poem. I am learned a lot about the different types of poetry from your author notes. This villanelle is very well done especially considering the restrictions.

I have never heard of Villanelle style poetry. You seem to have done rather well here though as the topic is a good one and the poem flows well.
I believe that regret is a lie only if it does not give us cause to learn from our mistakes and we do the same thing all over again. Keep up the great work.

Oh, the villanelle style of poem is a challenge! No wonder I haven't seen it before. I'm not sure the alternating repeating rhymes works for me, but the message was clear.
