I wrote my best poems about children when I worked at the daycare. When I have kids I think I'll be able to write children poems again. Small children just spark something inside of you that no one else can. Great job

Rdfrdmom2 - Nice poignant vignettes of your thoughts about your grandchild and your closeness to your maker. Well done and I enjoyed it. Charlie

Babies do many things for us...
love, sweetness, innocence, reminds us of mortality, infinity, and beauty.
Your poem says so much..
I am glad you are able to have these cherished moments to be with her.
It flies swiftly, as you know.
Well done.

This is a really good piece
of work, each verse speaking
of the joy you feel when with
your grandchild --- granchildren
are such a blessing -- you cannot
help but smile when with them.

Thank you for sharing.
Margaret.

Jan, great writing and your notes tell it all. I only hope that when my daughter delivers in a couple of months, we have a healthy, kicking and infrequently yelling child such as you've been blessed with. Great work

I know exactly how you feel. My granddaughter is my favorite thing in the whole world. I watch her too, and she always makes me laugh. Her love heals me. Great thoughts put down on paper. I loved it.
