It really jars me to think of her as a physically beautiful woman because every time you describe her abusing Natalie or lying about men who abuse her or yelling filthy things at her, I picture an old hag that looks like the wicked witch from the most terrifying fairy tale. There is such ugliness within that I project it onto the outside. I am betting this is a calm before the storm chapter. Brooke

Ah, she see's behind the soft gentle exterior....yup, it's the calm before the storm....that's why I posted two chapters this time. Thanks for your continued interest and kind review.

This is a great chapter. I can feel the tension and the familiarity with her being home. Her surroundings are almost comfortable, and so is her mother, excellent work.
