Oh, there are no mundane moments with a newborn bundle of joy! :)
This is lovely. Your words are full of love and admiration in little Lexi. Such a pure and joyful love.

I have no suggestions. Nice presentation. This is so sweet.

Working in daycare we talked about poop a lot. We decided it was probably one of the only jobs where it is really acceptable. Although we were always hoping the kids would wait for us to leave to poop it can be something to get excited about especially in your situation. As Lexi and you both grow you will find even more unique ways to sooth her

Hi Jan,
Your so right. There is never a dull moment with a little one in the house. Those moments such as dancing are such sweet memories and I hope Lexi is soon feeling better. You express these times with Lexi nicely in your poetry. Interesting with a smooth flow. Thank you for sharing and God bless and best wishes!

I have heard it is an exciting time when they begin to 'poop'. I loved the first verse. Made me smile and the part about not stepping on toes was wonderful. joan marie

Oh I am so sorry she is still having trouble. I know about the dancing and when they like one thing it is that you have to do. Anything to calm and make them feel better. Great write. Thanks, Jeanette

Yes, it is amazing how poetical the mundane can become with your pen. Your last poem is my favorite with its simile. I enjoyed the picture and think it is the perfect match for your theme.
