I applaud you, not only in your work, but in preparing wisdom for your grandchild ahead, jan. Beautifully written, as ever, and very poignant. I would have cried in that room as well. No point could be made more strongly than with a vulnerable child in your arms, and your own kin. I love your clear expression of imagery. Nicely done.

I applaud you, not only in your work, but in preparing wisdom for your grandchild ahead, jan. Beautifully written, as ever, and very poignant. I would have cried in that room as well. No point could be made more strongly than with a vulnerable child in your arms, and your own kin. I love your clear expression of imagery. Nicely done.

I think this book you are writing is a wonderful idea. The day will come when your grandchild is old enough to understand that she will be very proud of grandmother. I also think the organization which you founded is bound to be doing a lot to help those victims of sexual abuse. I agree that it will never totally be eradicated but each person you help is certainly worth the effort.

social work. As she is now just ten days old, it will be many years into the future before she will read what you have written - nominally for her but very much about the work of your organisation.
There is nothing to suggest changing and I thank you for sharing this with us.

social work. As she is now just ten days old, it will be many years into the future before she will read what you have written - nominally for her but very much about the work of your organisation.

I've just gotta say that I'm kinda shocked that you didn't think to tell people the Lexi was going to be there to get more people there. The only excuse you need to take pictures is that Lexi will only be that size once so you have to record it while you can
