As always, a great job of conveying a message and telling a story within your lyrical poem. Great balance of everyting. Enjoyable read.

THis is excellent. I think rictameters are fun and a stretching of the poetic mind. It is one of the characteristics of a cruel person to use or bully another and your rictameter uses this theme very effectively. The picture is a great accent for your words. Blessings, Linda

Excellent! I like this sentiment and your choice of words:

Neverminding the aftermath
Or damaged swath of pain

Original and shows much imagination. I have no nits to pick here, just an enjoyable all-around read. Your Picasso sets it off just right, too, just what pain could look like if one could actually see its physical presence. Well done, poet! -mia

What a great description of some people that I know. They don't think about what they say or do or how it impacts those around them. Great job.

Just superb! I loved the image, and they way that the structure sat on the page - the physical structure of the poem was great, and the swinging rythm of the poem that developed as a result of using the "ings". Well for me anyway. Well done.

So glad you liked the 'ings'. I'm very particular about repetition like this, but thought it worked on this subject matter. Thank you for your very kind review, Sue

Totally enjoyable -easy to read and easy to understand the truths within.
Thanks for sharing - now could you please be kind enough to tell me what a 'rictameter' is? LOL
Sorry for my ignorance - but glad I can go to a 'Master' for help.
Sincerely

Uh-oh! I ALWAYS put the description of a poem in author's notes and missed this one. Must do that now. It's a lengthy description. If you want to know what it is, please go back to the author's notes. Thanks for bring that up. And thank you for most generous compliments and review. With regards, Sue

This is very interesting. You have described "cruel" very eloquently and in a few short words. I am sorry you missed your deadline. I am sure this would have been a contender. It is very well written. :) Cheryl

Well 60's kid, you are late a lot but then you're worth waiting for. So write on time or procrastinate, but just keep entertaining us.
