Beautiful artwork with poetry that gives a sense of rebirth and spring, love the last line beauty incubates, a haiku that gives a good feeling.

Aw, this is lovely.
At the University that my children attend, there is a body of water on the campus that is called "Swan Lake." I could sit and watch the beautiful swans that reside there, all day.
This poem made me think of that beautiful scene. The photo you chose is adorable and fits nicely.
I enjoyed this.
Blessings,
~Nic

I havent written a haiku since I was in grade seven and that was a long time ago lol. Yours always seem to have a level of importance to them. Some are lovely with the environment and the weather and flowers but yours have meaning

This is only my second haiku ever - balmy breezes from the day before was the first. They have so many rules that the thought of them makes me nervous! LOL Thank you, Brooke

I like your take on the ugly duckling, and you managed to illustrate that concept with minimal words. Love begets beauty (inside and outide).
Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

If raised with the unconditional love one deserves, any baby can transform into the most beautiful of swans, right, Brooke? Loved your take on this. Terrific message.
Always,
David

This one has great imagery. Is there really such a thing as an ugly duckling? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are doing great with the haiku. Very nice. :)

I like animals that are "ugly" as I always think they're so cute in their ugliness - and they all have sweet spirits! Thanks, Brooke :-)
