Brilliantly written. This really conveys the deep longing that someone/something would come along and, like magic, put a stop to all the abuse. How very typical of the priest not to believe you. I had similar as a child, I disclosed and was not believed. It was only many years later that I started to receive the help I needed to heal and recover. Your daddy had absolutely no right to steal your childhood away from you. I have to agree with the sentiment 'god does not care'. Keep going! It's great. All the best to you. Kat
