First of all we're going to look at the literary techniques being used here. The first line with the two illiterative words.It seems as though they are almost onomatopoetic in nature. Our imagination fulfills it and we certainly get a sense of what happened. We can hear the arrow heading its mark. Good job

    Hi Liz, thank you for your great review and for sharing your thoughts which I appreciate. I wrote this poem so long ago, I almost forgot about it. Very clever LateBloomer. I like it.
Guess cupid was in Germany around the same
time. He struck my daughter for the third time.
Baby due November so I'll be flying away
once again. Sure wish her husband would get
a job in the states.

    Thank you for the review. I, too, am a Native New Yorker.

    I see that my original photo is attached to the poem. Last evening, most photos were missing from my poems and I implemented new photos. I'll have to go and check my portfolio because if this photo is available, this is my photo of choice.
