Hi again

As a father myself I really empathise with this. I'm sure mothers do even more. Yet again same comment - incredibly beautiful presentation.

Cheers

Chris

This is a lovely poem that sums up the first precious moments of your relationship with your child. I liked the simplicity of the wording used to convey what i see as quite complex emotion.

Aww...this is so sweet and makes my heart swell. You did a great job of capturing the feelings. Good luck in the contest. I found no issues with your rhyme, syllables or meter. Very nicely crafted.

I loved the easy flow and rhythm to this minute poem, and it certainly portrays emotions. I can always find a favourite line in yours, and here it was,
"He'd strike a pose, then scrunch his nose," It's the strike and the scrunch that do it. Lovely word, scrunch

Baby nose scrunching sure is one of life's coolest things! Thanks so much, Brooke

Wonderful poem full of the emotions and all of the impractical practicalities of this love relationship between mother and child. To think that wiggling a toe could fill a heart so! I loved the use of the word drear. You continually find ways to exercise your creativity and it's a pleasure to witness.

Sure soften us up with the motherly talk that warms every heart that cares about the babe. My heart goes out to the mothers who give their young the tender care that they are crying out for. This was well penned and each line could almost stand alone. Cheers, Don

This is so adorable. You really touched my heart with this poem. It was a little hard for me to keep the beat but I think that's just my lack of rhythm. So grade A very good.

Beautifully done. The joy that a mother has for her baby shines through every line. Perfect form, natural rhymes, nice flow. I think you have a winner here. Best wishes in the contest.

Perfect meter. Nicely done, Brooke.
I'll have to try a minute poem. I've not written one yet.
I really like this style.

This poem is adorable. I love the nurturing and loving feeling it conveys. There is nothing as dear and miraculous as the birth of a child.

Simply beautiful!
No suggestions. I like everything about this - Great flow, wonderful message and a pleasant presentation.
