She'll probably stay your most valuable player from year to year and you won't have to worry about finding a new one for years to come.

"Most Valuable Player"--how cute, and your poem is a close runner-up. However, your poem is 5-7-5 and much harder to conceive. Oh, that's a good word when talking about a baby! Keep doting and enjoying and sharing.

Good morning joyous Jan and what a delightful way to get something good out of a ball game. I loved it and I think some did get their priorities right! Great, Loyd

Jan, I have to tell you that I'm a bit partial to this one!
Mostly, as it was a tribute to the Six-Burgh Steelers!
You may remember that you and I tied for first in the travel writing contest... Well the STEELERS are my team, of course!
Like our Mayor changed his name when we were set to play the Ravens from Ravenstahl to Steeler-stahl, the council has changed the name of our city for the year to Six-Burgh!
The victory parade today was amazing!
Love that little one up!

jan, another chapter in a young life. One day, maybe the Super Bowl will be a happy memory that she will enjoy sharing with the rest of the family. Great work

This is a sweet poem.
Bonding is such an important time with a new baby. It shapes the rest of their lives.
The only thing that could have made this better is if you could have put that the Arizona Cardinals won. LOL (Kurt Warner fan) ;)
Great poem. I enjoyed the author notes as well.

I love the author's notes that you put in. They really added a lot to this one. Don't forget them in the book. I wonder what she'll think about her first super bowl? joan marie
