I know what you mean. The softness and scent of a newborn are such sweetness to a grandparent's senses. This poem, though short, give rise to such precious feelings of love. Excellent. Blessings, Linda

Linda, you are so right. Besides being so preciously tiny, the scent is like no other. I believe it to be the scent of perfect innocence. Love, jan

Wonderful little poem. I know that Lexi will apreciate it some day.
As for the pixel thing... there is a free download at Paint.Net that you can size pictures with... or just as easy, Photobucket is a free site that you can upload you pictures to and they give you a code to post for the picture. Either one is fairly user friendly. I think I'd try Photobucket first.
Thanks for sharing,
I hope this helps.
Feel free to contact me if you have problems.
Have a great day,
Donna

So short, yet says so much and with a very nice image. I enjoyed this well written poem and like the format very much. Well done!

jan,
great work and beautiful picture you chose to illustrate it with. I can tell it will be difficult for me to keep finding new words for I can use when commenting on the joy you're going through. I've pretty well exhausted my vocabulary. lol

Beautiful. It is such a miracle to hold that tiny life and think of the future and all the joys to come. I know you are enjoying her. Thanks, Jeanette

All I gotta say is don't set the expectations up so high that they are unachivable (is this a word?). Anyways, you are doing a splendid job with this

Hi Jan,
I feel I've been given a treasure to be able to share such sweet and special moments with you. Your short poem radiates the love a grandmother feels and is a reminder of my special moments too. Such love felt in so few words. Thank you for sharing and God bless and best wishes!
