i miss the days when i could cuddle my daughter to my breast. plop a nipple in her mouth and watch her fall asleep within ten minutes. LOL she loved to nurse. i had a more difficult time weaning than potty training. oh well. such is contentment. :P
these are beautiful attributes to something every woman should experience but won't.

I can't imagine what it feels like to be so in love with your mom at such a young age. I suppose I was too...but that's only cuz I didn't know any better. I watched how kids got all excited when they seen their parents at the daycare and it truly does start when they are this little

Awww, I think you'll strike a chord with many of your readers with this one. There is nothing that can compare to nursing your own baby. I nursed both my girls, and was a little reluctant when weaning time came ... it's such a special bond only mommy and baby can share.

yes, I nursed Cindy, too, and was sad when a necessary surgery required me to give it up when she was only 5.5 months old. love, jan

breastfeeding was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life, especially with Eric, my first born, who just went into a zone. LOL These haiku brought back many lovely memories.
