So much said in just a few short lines. You managed to describe divorce so well. Although it is often what both parties wanted, it is still a sad, hard thing to go through.

You have written a great poem. I could make out the meaning behind it without use of the picture, which, by the way, goes perfectly. I wish divorce didn't exist, but it is something people deal with every day. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Great contest entry, this free verse nails the poignant theme of a relationship coming apart. I like the way you left sentances and phrases incomplete, nice thinking out of the box there to create a music that ties in with your theme. EKPoet

This is great. short and meaningful. I really like it.

It encapsulates the agony of a broken marriage so well.

Having been there myself I all too easily can identify with this.

Good morning Sue. It doesn't matter who says what, divorce can be so utterly devastaing. I know some can not be helped, but many who think they are finding happiness, have just jumped from the pan to the fire. I enjoyed, Loyd

You did an excellent job with only fifteen words. There was a lot of emotion expressed about the divorce. Very powerful and emotional. Great luck with the contest. This is a winner.

It is amazing how a life joined together complicated with emotions can be dissolved with a stroke of a pen. I think you used your words wisely. Good luck in the voting booth.
