One of my favorite shows on television is a cartoon called Futurama. There is a crotchety old professor who uses these words. Have you been watching Futurama? I liked this poem. The picture too is very funny. That little dog looks very guilty doesn't he?
Tomfoolery is another word I like. :)

No, I do not watch that show but the professor sounds like my kind of guy - I will have to look it up - what network? Glad you enjoyed my silliness with old words. Thank you, Brooke

comedy central i think. All reruns. They cancelled it after 4 seasons.

this poem was very humorous. i didn't see anything you needed to work on. i thought your explanation on what some of the words that people wouldn't understand was good as well so that people wouldn't give you a lower mark were they didn't understand it. i enjoyed reading and also thought the picture fitted it perfectly.

I've seen the same look on the faces of my two little dogs when I've accused them of something. 'wonder if they're saying these things about me?
PROS:
Well written and humorous. A whole lot of nonsense and deceipt went into this. ;-)
SPAG:

Hi There
I very much enjoyed this. Loved your choice of words - some of the very best in the English language I think.
I love the picture of the dog too - it goes so well with the poem.
In short I really liked this
Cheers

haha ... I love your exercises in amusing words :-). If even one more person starts using them as a result, then it's a success! You certainly always manage to hasten a dragging day here in Westminster :-)

Good morning Brooke, I wish I could say I loved it and how it touched my heart, but I'm still trying to find those darn words and their definitions. (haha) That was fun and you are so clever and witty. A good post, Loyd

These are great words; not ones you can work in to daily conversation, but great for describing things when you want to add a whimsical slant. This poem is fun to read, mostly because I kept wondering which word you would use next. I've read most of the words over my life, but I'm not sure they would come to me quickly nor and I certain I could have used them as appropriately as you did. Nice poem, as usual.

You did it again. What an entertaining poem! I was glad that you clarified what some of these words mean in your author notes. You have a real talent for using funny words in your poetry to entertain us. It flowed nicely and good luck in the contest.

Hi Brooke.
I finally am looking at something with an exceptional star rating available. For humor, for great words and word placement, for well crafted rhythm and rhyme I'm so happy to provide a six. I love this, but then you never write anything I don't find to be right on target. I also love the morose doggie. Fondly, Rebecca
