A very well written poem that will get the attention of most males and some females. It has a good rhyming scheme that makes for an easy read. Very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

charlie - I've been delighted that so many male reviewers seem to appreciate a bit of flesh on a curvy woman! LOL Thanks, Brooke

You're welcome, Brooke. Like the comedian said, "A woman doesn't have to dress to please me." (LOL) Charlei

You have been in a happy mood of late; all your recent poems shine with mirth and devilish good humor. I really liked this poem and can imagine boobs bouncing off her knees, definitely not an hour-glass figure!

Your poem does a nice job of telling the message of Blue Nude. He portrayal of a sensual woman is tasteful and nice. Unfortunately the portrayal today of a sensual woman is of one who look unhealthy, almost like a meth user, down to the dark rings under the eyes. I think it is a travesty to women to be expected to have a specific body type to be sensual. Artists like Matisse can make any type sensual.

Eric, every man who has reviewed this seems to like curvy women - makes one wonder who those fashion people are trying to please? Thanks so much, Brooke

You never fail to inspire me. I need to learn more about poetry, but I really enjoy reading all the ones that you write. Someday I'll understand poems, but until then I'll just read yours. Great work.

Yay! From one who wouldn't be a size 2 if she starved herself to death. I love your tribute to another classic artwork, and your author's message! You put a smile on my face! Thanks for sharing - I've got to get cracking those art books! Carolyn

Brooke,
Well, you hooked me in with this title. Had to take a look-see. Figured you would be writing about a naked woman who stayed out in the snow so long she turned blue. Nope-just a naked woman on a couch. Better. Thanks for sharing. lol

The artwork you write about...the ones I don't know...it's always such fun to envision in my mind what they might look like and then I look them up to see if I'm anywhere close. LOL My visions may be off, but your words sure aren't.

Her breasts,
voluptuous.
Curvaceous hips invite
the light that plays upon her flesh.
Excite.
Oh dear. You've found my secret stash. LOL
What a beautiful image you create with your finely chosen words dear writer.
Thanks for sharing. Now, don't tell!
