I love it! The pastiche is extremely interesting to me. Hey, I have one question: there is something in which you take lines from other poems with the authors consent of course to make one entirely unique poem. What is that called? I've heard of it once before and this style reminds me of it.

Oh yes, I know of what you speak, but I don't know its technical name--it's like a mosaic. However, unless the works you quote are in the public domain, you have to have permission from EVERY copyright holder (which may not necessarily be the author.)For instance, I don't hold the copyright to my script "The Elf Who Knew Too Much (see my bio.)" Thanks for a great review.

Very nice pastiche. I like animals so this caught my interest. It looks so simple, but I'm sure it was not easy to write this. Good luck in the contest.

No, to catch the rhythm, rhyme, and content of the poem without plagiarizing wasn't easy. Thank you for noticing that and for a good review.

This is a very good piece. I think, from your author's notes, that you have executed it perfectly...
The first two lines are so powerful...and the last two soften the tone considerably. I see someone very angry looking for redemption...
Very good work. Love, Susanne
