You managed to do both. Very cool. What could be seen as your distraction became your own delight, You ate the poem you dreamed about, when you put those words to flight. Cheers, Don

Ok. I didn't realise this one was yours when I opened it to review it. I know I said I'd leave alone but I must say, once again, congratulations on this! I loved it.

Okay...I haven't had breakfast yet. This sounds delicious. Unfortunately, they don't have cinnamon bread in the cafeteria at my workplace. Maybe I can find a cinnamon bun? This poem is light and cheery. I like the picture you have chosen too. Very nice.
Warm regards,
Daizie

This reminds me of the poetry one gets in children's compilations; simple, pretty, and about everyday things. I'm sure you realise that I'm not trying to insult you by saying that; reading this felt like wiping one's mouth with a lemon-scented wipe after eating a KFC. I'm sure I'll be back on the burgers soon enough, but for now I enjoyed the lighter side of poetry, so thankyou :-)

It is a light little piece - I'm not insulted at all - if I tried for earth shattering philosophy every time I wrote I'd drive myself crazy! LOL Thank you, Brooke

Oh, lovely! You opt for cinnamon bread and I for chocolate. There's always something which stirs up those words, and it seems it's always sweet food! Very enjoyable indeed my friend; glad I popped in to your p'folio - seem to keep missing your stuff on the listing! xoxoxoxoxoxoxxo

Hi Brooke,
Gosh! Cinnamon and sugar on buttered toast. I haven't had that for so long. I love it with a hot cup of coffee.
I don't think you have to worry about having no poem to offer. Your creative spirit oveflows with wonderful thoughts and ideas. I'm so glad you decided to write at FS.

Sounds like a lovely decadent Sunday morning. Bring some over here please. This reminded me of my camp days where we'd make that sugary cinnamin bread. Terror
