Thanks for the kind words, Shelley. I'm glad you liked it...and the night ended just fine (at about noon on New Years Day).

Excellent! A perfect six word story, and oh, so common. But never you and yours or me and mine, right? Riiiiiiiiight .....
Thanks for the read! Deb

How do I change my chapter # to be 28e28459563 or whatever instead of prologue? And how did you enter it as a poem? D

Hi, Sherry.
Not sure if this clearly meets the contest rules as the 'New Year' theme isn't evident, though I guess they could have found a great way of seeing it 'IN', LOL.
Great fun anyway. Best wishes, Ray xx

You've captured the passion
and the inevitable outcome of
that passionate kiss in six
words as required. Passion
always shortens the trip.
Well done

Thank you for reading and reviewing. Writing for this contest brought back memories long buried of my first love and the New Year's Eve that we spent together.

The problem(?) is - I wasn't drinking! Just drunk on love, I guess ... Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Your welcome, jm
-
I didn't mean you were drunk. I was just referring to have heard that phrase while out myself. No offense I hope. jm
-
Good Lands NO, Joan Marie! No offense taken, at all - it's so hard to get across what you mean on this silly machine! I drink like a fish (sometimes), but this was just not one of those times. That's why there was a question mark after the word "problem" :) Having one of our friends yell that at us across the restaurant parking lot probably wouldn't have been as embarrassing if I HAD been drunk!

I have told a few of my friends to get a room. Sometimes without facial expression and voice inflection things are misunderstood. Just making sure. Glad to met ya. jm

Yes... that tells the story. I had to smile at this one.
Now if I can write enough for the editor not to kick...
Thanks for sharing,
Donna
