Just kidding. You've awoken Miss Cheevous!
This is simple, to the point, and makes a valid argument. Those who've overcome adversity, or imprisonment of one kind or another, are the deepest wells of enthusiasm and determination.
Of course, those who've become successful also always manage to have had some horrible event in their childhood, or something they had to overcome, but my cynicism there extends only to few particularly attention-hungry types :-)

I smaell the fresh air and I am beating those barriers and flying in the sky...I see freedom...for the first time in 52 years......I am free I tell you... free and loving every moment of it. Sorry it took me long to review this one. Lovely thought, and a wonderful picture of flight to illustrate the freedom. Unfortunately, yours truly, feels that none of us are ever completely free. Enjoyed the beautiful dream! :)

This is very open and yet very cryptic all at the same time Brooke!
I love the picture of the soaring gull, I suspect there are many that need to soar - the change in year will often bring us to that point.

Just sizzling with energy. I love that you have used every verb to help to create this sense of life and vibrance "Break, Bound, Blaze" alliterative marvels, the very letter 'b' is like a build up and release of tension. How you do it I just dont know.
