Very enjoyable to read. A fairy tale telling of the one who believed and so great beauty was bestowed upon the land. You have a real talent, thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Happy Holidays!

Brooke, either you have a nice thick book of fairy legends, else you have a wonderfully vivid imagination (perhaps an imagination sprinkled with a little fairy dust!) You just pull these stories out of your red and green Christmas hat, or whatever hat is appro-pro (emphasis on "pro") for the occasion, and off you go running! Love 'em all.

I make the legends up all by my little self - my daughter said she wanted a winter wonderland fairy poem, and this is what resulted - I've been working on it for days since she asked. Thanks, Brooke :-)

You are just so talented...you sure you don't have fairy blood in you?
Enjoy your Christmas,
Lois

I have a fairy daughter, if that counts :-)

Well, of course!

The alliteration worked well with this piece. The piture got me in the mood for a white Christmas even though it's not my holiday, it's always beautiful (especially if I don't have to drive in it). Terror

Lovely!
I love your fairy poems. :)
Brrr... I'm cold. LOL
This winter wonderland from gloom had grown
because of one who never lost belief.
Icicles glisten when the wind has blown
and hang from branches when they bear no leaf. - I love this last stanza. What a great mental image this has painted. Beautiful.
Question - Did you mean to put "un" at the bottom of your poem? - Possibly you were deleting something and left it there unintentionally? LOL It puzzled me. (Not easy to do on 3 hours of sleep in the last 2 days!) haha
Her sparkling fairy dust chilled by the cold
formed into flakes of six-fold symmetry. - I wish some of this fairy dust would fall HERE for Christmas. LOL
Very enjoyable poem, Brooke.
If this review doesn't make sense, please ignore it. LOL I'm barely awake as I type this. ha ;)

Of course, I meant to write un at the bottom of the poem - it is a secret code and you're not a club member with a decoder ring LOLOLOL thanks for letting me know those mysterious little letters were there! You should go to bed!! Thank you, Brooke
Thanks for the chuckle - you funny girl!
...still laughing

N(ice) one. LOL Very fitting for this time of year. Did a great job with it. Just one little thought
Each one who breathed its iciness did gasp
and feel an overpow'ring sense of gall. (should that be felt instead of feel?)

Beautiful poetry in a winter fairy land! I love your little Felicity, going to her Queen, and saving the day! This certainly tells a story in a poem, you've lived up to your own reputation of putting out nothing but the best!

Brrr! I'm cold just reading this. I really enjoy the snow and your poem dusts crystals of joy in my heart.
I hope this helps and good luck.
