I've visited family near Allentown PA and so your reference to the Moravian bookstore felt familiar. The story is well told and shares the warmth of a family with strong bonds.

Spending quality time with family is definitely memorable. I like the way you commemorated them on this visit in a poem. Well thought out and nicely written. Clear visual imagery of events and loving times together. Good rhymes. Nice photograph.

Thanks for sharing these precious memories in verse. Your recent posts showed you made it to Bethlehem, PA to visit your in-laws. So this must have been posted at a time you didn't get to see them as often. Sounds like a loving family time.

Hi Teri - this is a lovely nostalgic poem - obviously biographical though you say General. The syllables per line are a bit uneven but this does not detract from the beauty of the content of the poem. Lovely read - warm regards Dorothy

I'm not sure if this is your family or not. Nevertheless, written in 2008, it reflects homey visits with family you love in Pennsylvania. I like to do puzzles, too. Marilyn
