Nicely done Pearl! Another great book and another well done A-Z poem. Everything's in there. So little time - so much to learn. I'm still searching. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah, Brooke! Sidhartha was indeed a book we treasured...and your poem makes me want to find my copy and read it once again. What joy Hesse's words gave a generation who knew love is the answer. Beautiful poem.

Wow, you are right this is one heck of a journey of self discovery. It takes a lifetime I think to come to just a few of the right conclusions. LOL Bravo

Yes, Siddhartha is a wonderful book about self-discovery. I have a friend who read it and was actually inspired to go on a retreat where he was invloved in self-discovering, fasting, and self-clensing. He was recently divorced and needed to rediscover himself. A terrific choice to write about and a book that is a very worthwhile read. Terror

Nice Job, Brooke. Being in my early 50's now, in my early teens - Sidhartha was one of my favorite books. Thanks for the memory...

Siddhartha was one of my most favorite books... I learned a lot from the story, but more from the journey through a place and time so very different from today.
Again, your style brings back in great detail, but so concisely the story.
Well done.

I loved the art work and "Yes we must seek our own truths."
Human beings can be unique in many ways , our understanding of life, belief , love and care can be different but our belief and sharing is good to share. I enjoyed reading these words very much about "Siddhartha."
In his final years, Siddhartha encounters a ferryman and learns from his experiences on the river the lessons to be found in the water. He discovers how to "listen with a still heart, with a waiting, open soul." When he dies, he dies with a peaceful smile of one who has finally found what he sought on his own terms.
No wonder this book became almost a Bible for a generation of hippies and rebels. Today, it still speaks to those who seek their own understanding of life.
I liked reading these words.
