Yes, I do remember how you captured the "annoying" telemarketers. But I had forgotten about the picture that communicates angst so well. I'm glad I chose a different color scheme so that our poems don't look like mirrors. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh boy, can I identify with this won. Most of those calls have a UUU as the caller on caller ID and I just let it ring. I get so tired of them. I can truthfully your vent is my vent, too. Very good adjectives in this one! Blessings to you, Linda

Okay, I must admit, I chuckled. I used to be a telemarketer many years ago, but it certainly didn't last very long. You know why!!

I really enjoyed reading your poem, and you did a great job!

Egads!!! I called you a criminal! HA!!! No, I'm never mean to the people calling. Just have to do the ole "Take my number off the list" bit. Yeah and that's going to work! HA!! Thanks for your review and so glad you liked it! Sue

Oh, I know and we registered with that hotline to stop them from calling us. The worst are all the charities. I hate being telemarketed to begin with but even worse is to say "no" to a charity I've always given to in the past.

Jude, my sister is being "PLAGUED" also by the charities. I told her if you give $1.00 to an animal shelter or Vets or anything, you will be hunted down like a dog!! LOL!! The "latest and greatest" for me are the cruise ship people saying that I've just WON!! Ha! Oh well, lucky we have caller I.D. these days. Thanks much for the review. Thought I'd have a little fun. I can empathize with you, it seems that as soon as you sit down for dinner it starts, and carries on into the evening. Your poem is great and shows the frustrations. Excellent Kay

Sixteezkid,

I feel your pain and understand your frustration. We put ours on the do-not-call list and it really helped a lot. Still get some 'survey' calls and such, but not nearly as many as before.

Duane, It's absolutely hilarious that I could actually feel better putting that into a poem! HA! Thanks for reading and your review! Sue

This was a nicely written word cinquain. I am familiar with this format, however, some may get this mixed up with the traditional version of the cinqain and rate accordingly, you might want to put down the rules in your author's notes. Just a thought.

I have to say I love the artwork the phone looks possessed or it's an alien of some kind. Yes they are a right pain in the Butt for sure, and they always call around evening tea. I think you covered the emotions that they stir up in us Sue.

Vent away cousin! Sounds like they are really harassing you. You need to find that no call number...and fast!
Great poem!
