I guess that is how he gained weight like the rest of us! A cheerful short story. Good luck in the contest. It is tough for me to say much in thee short ones. T2

I hear he also likes beer and miso and sushi, depending who you ask. Santa is all things for all people, and he isn't a myth, he has a mythus! Anyway, nice complement to the contest. Thanks for letting me review.

well santa needs to cut back on his milk and cookies so maybe you could gingerly let him know the rest of the cookies and milk are for the little growing one...good luck, yours, diana

over in the UK reviewers tell me they put out brandy, sherry and mince pies for santa...so santa gets a little variety as he travels about the globe. some of the cookies go to the hungry reindeer, too. santa needs to watch his cholesterol and weight so he doesn't get stuck in chimneys. thanks for stopping by diana...;0)art

oh dear, that is hilarious. I never though of that. I can imagine this in a movie with Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller. Good one.

Nice little entry, but too bad the picture is kind of blurry. I always wondered what it would be like to play Santa. I probably wouldn't be very good. Like Billy Bob Thornton in that movie. :-O

The pic looked better before I enlarged it. It's been decades since I played Santa, but it was a memorable experience. It took a lot of patience trying to keep kids, moms, photographers and reindeer happy while sweating beneath a very warm outfit. Thanks for review. I appreciate your comments and rating. Cheers...;0)

this was okay - but everyone knows to leave milk and cookies out for santa on xmas eve (hence the 4 - sorry)

still a good addition for the book! thank you for sharing it.... and for fixing the chapter number too! ;-)

Not everyone...According to UK reviewers, they leave brandy and sherry out along with mince pies. Santa's got a better deal over there. I might change this six worder. Hey..thanks for the review.

starkat,

wow, what a great contest enty and what a beautiful choice of wording for this poem. Six words that are sharp, concise and straight to the point. Excellent work, Starkat.

This is hard... comparing so many sets of just 6 words. I've given this one 4 because I felt that it needed the author's note to make it a story. Santa gets sherry and mince pies in UK

Thanks for the review. Domino pointed out they put brandy and mince pies out for Santa at his house in the UK. Either way, Santa gets a better deal in the UK than in the US. I appreciate your comments...;) I may revise this six worder. This is something I would of said to the kids to get on their level. I may have also suggested possible treats for the reindeer.

Santa looks like he could do with some milk and cookies, or maybe something stronger, in this shot, Sir Starkitty! Perhaps a glass of Bailey's might be the go. I wonder who was more relieved after those kids went - them, or Santa?

Good six-worder, good luck in the contest!

Cheers,
Mrs Louis :)

Bailey's would work. Reviewers from the UK have all said they put Brandy or Sherry out along with mince pies for Santa. So, Santa gets a better deal in the UK than the US. Santa always writes a brief thank you note for the treats. In the pic, both Santa and the kids can't wait for this experience to be over. I think Santa was a tad more relieved.

    Thanks for the review.
    I appreciate the comments..
