I know this was posted a long time ago, but do you know if this writer is still on fanstory? I could t find him...looking up the name Ian Ayris. I was looking through your portfolio to see if you wrote prose and read a few. I love your poetry, so I wanted to see what kind of a prose writer you are....fabulous of course:)

Ian is a marvelous writer - just be warned he is not for the faint of heart or someone who objects on religious, moral grounds etc to very strong language and violent incidents. He writes of a child growing up in a raw, poor neighborhood where the language and violence are facts of life. Thanks so much, Brooke

To have the praise of another writer, like yourself, is the sincerest form of flattery. Looking at your accomplishments, too, has given me inspiration and the modeling that I feel I need to become a successful writer.

he has already had a couple of his short stories anthologized in the UK, so yes, I do hope he will find a novel publisher! Thank you, brooke

Curt, I think you're a good candidate - his language and setting are, I'm sure, a bit too candid and harsh for some of the ladies on site, but I think you fit the profile of someone who will truly appreciate the story and the manner in which it is presented. Thanks, Brooke

I was in awe of his subway guy who gave up his wife, then the gal turned him down. That was brilliant right to the last line. Just supurb.
