Hi, Jani.
One 'nit' for me would be the pic choice. He's a lovely kid but monopolises too much of the art choice, IMHO. He's probably 'Tom's' kid and I'll get kicked off. LOL!
Only 'five aliens'? I've loved dozens, and they're commonly known as human females. LMAO!
Hey, uyou want the 15 year old boy back? - they're a real pain. LOL. Very original and interesting write.
Best wishes, ray xx

Well, Jani, you can be sure that at least one teen still hugs her mother! Maybe my teenalien hasn't come for me yet but I'm hoping that it won't. Anyways, this was excellent and enjoyable, and no corrections needed. So please leave your rose-colored glasses on, for you look perfect in them! Liked it very much, Word Weaver..

Janilou:
I hate to disappoint you, but every now and then their alien nature returns. My youngest is 39 and his sister is 44. We don't see it often but occasionally the pod arrives and then.... You know the rest.
I truly enjoyed the read. Well done. No spag.

ROFLOLOL I'm so laughing WITH you and not AT you. My husband just marveled at the fact that my 18 year-old daughter didn't mind him hugging her at this Thanksgiving. He can't remember that last time that happened. And we have a 14 year-old just entering the delusional paranoid world of thinking we're constantly talking about and plotting against him. Argghhh. Cute piece, well written and easily idenfiable. Only suggestion I have is:
-and breath a sigh of relief.- "breathe"

Thank you so very much for this thoughtful review. I have finally conceded defeat on my ability to catch up on my review answering, so I hope you will forgive my carbon-copy response. If you have made corrections, I have checked and corrected. Suggestions have also been considered. I just can't catch up and the number is bumping 800! I try, but life keeps getting in the way. :-)
Hugs,
Jan

Hello Janilou, You just leave those Rose colored glasses on my friend. The Aliens come and take our beautiful children leaving only robot, look alike shells with us for the coming 10 years or so. I have went through daughters and granddaughters and now come the great granddaughters and sons. Geesh! Though it is hard, don't ever let it end. What is the alternative. Wonderful STory.

Hi Janilou, I do very much understand. I have been struggling since February. After my surgery, there just never seems to be enough time. But don't worry about that too much, if you do you take valuable time away from your writing and the enjoyment of reading.

I doubt Jani that I'll find it; the good and thankful news is that they grow up lol; I'm counting the next 6 yrs down (if we make it that long) I am not going to answer every review comment by you; you've got to much to do; 800 reviews? cripes! I'd faint :-) Blessings on your evening. Tricia

A delightful acurate portrayal of what happens when, as you so cleverly put it, the teenalien years arrive. I've been there and survived to see the grandaliens starting to reach that stage.
I found your story most enjoyable. regards Miska

How adorable and a wonderful way to explain the changes that come over our children when they reach those terrible teens. The Terrible Twos are marvelous by comparison. I like the way you've ended this piece. We should all focus on loving our children every day like an alien pod will be here soon to exchange them soon.
, "Mommmm[,]" but she'll smile.

You just scared the bejasus out of me friend, your telling me Aliens are going to take my two girls away in the next couple of years[6 & 4 they are]and replace them with a nightmare! Say it isn't true! Or does it work differently for a Daddy? I hope so!
A great little story that had me nervously smiling all the way through. NOT MY ANGELS!

LOL I tell my youngest daughter I want her to stay just the way she is and not become a teenager. She throws her arms around me and says, "I'll always love you."
Thanks for the terrific review!
