This is an excellent poem, very discriptive words and the picture accompanying this poem makes for a beautiful presentation. The rhyming is impeccable and the syllable count is pretty consistent both of which allows this poem to flow effortlessly. Have a wonderful day.

A very well-written sonnet about a love story and red roses that goes hand in hand. The rose has thorns to protect its delicate petals as our love can sometimes prick each other to bleed.

This is lovely, your words flow so effortlessly. Sonnets are beautiful, I've always wanted to write one but find it somewhat hard. This one really captured the essence of the rose.

This is beautiful. I for one find a rose to be cliched, but you made it better than that for me. It's not a typical rose poem. Nicely penned. The rhymes were good too.

The Red Rose is inspirational, metaphorically here reminding us the reader of our own human stumbling along life's thorny path 'so frail your earthly spree'- 'spree' not a word we encounter often- a reflective and interesting read

Red roses are one of my favorite flowers and my romantic husband sees that I get them from time to time.
This is a lovely sonnet with perfect rhyme, meter and alliteration.

This was a very beautiful poem and I really enjoyed it. The Description of the Rose and imagery was fantastic too. Combined with the photo it's really a memorable and elegant poetic piece.
