This is just a wonderful, inclusive poem with a great deal of thought put into it--you didn't allow any great to be forgotten! So many of my favorites are alluded to! I am also very grateful for these wonders, all who seemed to tune into the magic frequency of art and translated it so beautifully, the same as you have done with this poem.

oh, I allowed several hundred greats to be forgotten!!! not actually forgotten, just edited out lest I have to publish one poem as a series LOL I love lots of musicians, poets and painters! :-) Thanks ever so much, Brooke :-)

Since it says in the Bible that we are created in God's image, and one aspect of God is creator, then it makes perfect sense that we have this inbuilt need to create and an innate ability to appreciate creativity in others.
You have out this sentiment very well in your poem.

This is a wonderful poem. I think it's great how you remember to thank God for the gifts that God gave these artists. How easy it is to forget that being able to paint, sing, write, or play a musical instrument or be able to touch someone heart in a good way is truly a gift from God...Thank You...Karen Fay
