It was a blast, I had the respect of ordering a Manhatten at 6:00am. With my shifts it would be considered my evening anyway. They also had 2:00 pint drafts for Guiness. This time it was a good crowd, but not so many people that it was suffocating. I enjoy the people and had some fun, I also gave a few poetry cards for FS.

I did think of you and took a few photographs of building art. With no direct way to get them to you, I will post them on myspace in the next few days. I am having problems getting my Page looking the way that I want because they switched to BETA and I have to learn how to deal with that. I had a MY Space profession do my origional page, that would be a ten year old girl. When I am ready, I will send you the link.

I wasn't too bad off as I wander around the old neighborhoods (got lost in crowds) and came up with a few ideas for poems.

oh, how radio station's programs accompany our daily life, they become a part of us. i listen to the radio everyday at work. the feeling of something missing is surely there without them. i do prefer music to talk shows anyway. thanks for sharing your thoughts in this interestingly presented poem.

I use my music for the nights, they play a song here and there. I can't describe this one and recomend that you hear it for yourself on line. I will be at the beer and bacon event in the morning. They have some serious discussions and interviews, humorous bits and also so unpredictable things. One never knows what's coming and neither do they. Well this morning, Josh wasn't his usual happy self. It seems that the program director wants him to put himself up for acution in a Date with an eligable bachlor contest. He is a be by yourself person and wasn't happy about the suggestion. But then, he uses that to creep people out. They had an ex-mafia person who's story they partiacially based the God Father One. In one sense it was a lot of humor thrown out, yet it was a serious review and they were able to keep his profanity down. (They were worried)

The variety of material they cover, does give you that sense and it helps take your mind off of the frustration and boredom. I'll be at their Beer and Bacon event this morning, feel free to tune in. 98Rock baltimore. 6:00am - 10:00am Eastern Standard Time. I will be there to get some photographs for the poem. Mike

I wrote a poem called Beer and Bacon, that is primarily a story of a time of transdtion for the station and how the people of The Morning Show fit in. This was much shorter. I thank you for the corrections [which are made], the compliments and this review. Mike

In a sense, this holds a strange facination for me as normally I don't go to bars or particape in such endeavors. It is neat who a few personalities can promt a total show. Thank you very much for the compliments and this review.

That was the rock station that I grew up listening to, but in the late 80's early 90's I just had to stop listening to them. This was in the establishment of Howard Stern and Greaseman and it's not that their stuff was not funny, it was just 24/7 and always over the top. With this group, they keep a good balance (you being off balance, as you never quite know what to expect) and have a good spirit about things. They work up quite a lot of bits and in a sense, had me consider using poetry and humor to set up my points.

I enjoyed their newsman, making a side by side case, comparing McCain with Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers Movie. I supported him and still had to laugh. Listening to them, just makes the day go faster and more pleasenter. Because of Mickey who does AM talk radio appearences, the show can go from goofy to serious and straight laced on a dime. He also brings people and business aspects of life that most of the listeners aren't exposed too. It's a very nice mix.
