Thank you for this beautiful poem of thanks for little things offered in praise to God who made it all possible. Strawberry pie in season -- looks like next season will be a good one the young plants are being tenderly cared for. (I know that last sentence has you scratching your head -- I live in the Strawberry Capital of the world, Ponchatoula, Louisiana!) Blessings, Jean

Jean, thank you so much for reading this old, no-longer promoted poem. I truly loved writing this one. You live in the strawberry capital of the world? I am SO envious!! Brooke

EXCELLENT!! That's my philosophy, Brooke. There's so many "little things" all around us to make it a glorious day, every day. Wonderful reading your life's treasures.

"My daughter's laughter on Christmas morning,
springtime when all of life is aborning,
the pulse of the back beat in rock 'n roll -
God fills all the world with things to extol."
This was very well written piece of verse. I think it was very smooth flowing. I have nothing to critique and noticed no spag issues. I thank you for sharing. Please, take care.

A prayer or song of praise. Such is the rarified heights you reach with this wonderfully joyous cry of life. Flying high on the kite would be akin to knowing God's presence. I might get dizzy though.

Brooke, what a wonderful way to give thanks, things don't have to be big, the little things are the ones that count in everyday's life, and sometimes we forget that.
I heard God whispering in my ear, that you have given Him so much joy with this poem.
Great rhyme and rhythm, smooth read.

... And this is a good one Brooke.
Every line flowed well in my humble opinion.
Beautiful lines express your joy and everything that has come your way.
God owns all the praise.
Much love,
Justmade.

This was a wonderfully written quatrain poem. I like the picture of the kite.
There was a good and consistant use of rhymes here. A good mixture of both slant and true rhymes.
