Hello Jan, this is a lovely story, truth is always stranger and more heartbreaking than fiction.
It must have been a terrible decision for your sister to have to make. I know of two women with something similar. One aborted the baby, and the other adopted hers out, and both of them were unable to have children in their marriages later. So tragic!!
I didn't find the writing choppy, and you make every word count, I like that aspect.
Thanks for sharing your story, and it is lovely to see an aunt care so much. Abby

Thank you so much. I would certainly understand. I couldn't help it, but we haven't been a part of his life. If he prefered it that way, I would only want him to be happy and would accept it.
