thank you - I'm glad you liked the Halloween mood and the word choices :-)

It is certainly not easy, what you're doing in your poetry, which is what makes it impressive, especially when you get near the tricky realms of U X and Z. I particulary liked Malicious Nightrider. good work.

Hello adewpearl,
This is another A-Z poem which is not so E-Z as ABC.
This poem reads and flows well and I have no suggestion for improvment.
I liked the following lines as I feel they are the essence of this poem:
Terminator-
ultra vampire wannabe.
Wanton x-tractor
yields zombies.
Regards, LateBloomer

Another fun one. Loved Kafkaesque. Vampire wannabe made me smile too.
The flow is a bit choppy, but that is suiting the style, so nothing wrong with it.
I find nothing to fix. The x-trick is forgivible....LOL
Warm regards,

Interesting ghoulish twist. They are quite the little suckers, aren't they? Ever seen the documentaries where they show the vampire bats licking on wounds on cow necks? Really eeewww, 'cause they film at night with infrared camera...makes their eyes extra creepy (shudder) and their little tongues licking... uck. Must have been a great poem, conjured up all those batty images! Nice Halloween romp. Thanks for the scare!

This poem was a mouthful! At first, I was getting a picture of a huge deer tick like the ones my dogs used to get. Then I thought, wait a minute. Ticks don't live in caves!
One phrase sounded like it was trying too hard: hemorrhage inducer. I don't know why. It just didn't fit with the others to me.
Wonderful imagery with this one!

Great poem... short but to the point lines. Each line tells a message. This poem is a great one that i enjoyed very much. Worthy of the 5 stars.

Wanton x-tractor. Love it! See what you mean 'bout the x words :) Is this one in a series of these Brooke? If so, where do I find it? Tom

I do love this piece! Very simple and very descriptive of the character and topic. The notations made by the author/poet will help those who are not acquainted with Kafkaesque and some of the other stories and characters. Readers will enjoy this piece and it fits right in with Halloween.

You are welcome. Last night, I watched on the T.V. 'Vampire 2000' it was really very good and such a twist to the end- if I can find the book I'm going to add it to my collection. Your poem though , I thought was excellent.
