Dear Brooke, your enjoyment of otters and the words of our language is as excited and vibrant as your mustelid subjects. Your style is quite distinctive, and familiar to me now. I got to review this too late for the dollars, but I'd review you for nothing. Peter.

You are the official Abercedarian expert! Well, in my book you are. Isn't it fun when you get passionate about a format. I did the same thing with Rhyming
Couplets. This style is meant to be read slowly I think. To savor each word. joan marie

very cleverly written, good use of the alphabet, that must have been no easy task. I have never looked at otters from that point of view before, it certainly gave me a new insight

I read this one fast. I think I enjoyed it that way.
This too is really good. I like the way youwriteand how you can pick anything and make something out of it. I know I have said this before but it's true.
Much love,
Justmade.

Thank you - and reading it fast is most appropriate as they are at play during the description. Please feel free to say nice things as often as you like!!

I noticed that you won the last A-Z contest and,
as well you should have. This one is much better
than the last one. It's almost like you're on the
fringe of neurosis while laughing all the way
through- getting to that next letter! Very
enjoyable! You should write a thousand of those
and then publish a book. Very unique. Yours,
Fish

Sometimes a Black and White picture tells more than a Color one. The combination of poem and photo in this work, take's the reader into a whole new dimmension. Love it!

I love this unique writing about these lovable creatures. Great word descriptions provide fun reading while defining the otter so well. Well done. Yawp is a new word to me. I'm curious about its meaning. LadyMary

Yawp means to utter a cry, much like the sound seals or otters make. I first learned it years ago from a Walt Whitman poem.
Thanks so much for your kind review :-)

adewpearl,
I found this poem intriguing. I read it several times. This is the first I have seen in this form. I loved the way it made me think.

Nice play of alliteration you have going on here, per your usual talent. I recently read of your winning a poetry contest here, so congratulation is in order. Keep up the good work poet. Valerie
