Helvi,
Anxiety is very devastating. I think it affects a lot more
people than we realize. I think a lot of people who have depression have had too much anxiety to deal with.

This is another fantastic piece! So relate-able. It flows so easily, unlike anxiety. I too have my ups and downs with this disease that attach's the emotions. It is nothing that anyone chooses to have and without hope, medications and counseling (even with those) sometimes it just can't be eased. There are going to be a lot of readers out there that will also relate to this piece. I can also say that having cancer as well, neither one would I rather have. I applause the poet for creating this piece and recommend its reading to everyone.

"I would rather have Cancer." It really does affect you a lot more than most people think. If this sentence makes one more person aware of how devastating Anxiety can be, you won't be able to erase my smile. :o)

Hi Nan...I loved the poem. I am Bi-polar... Have been from birth. There are still days when I wish I could take a long walk off a short pier. My meds work well, but since the stroke in June, and not working for the past three months, I am becoming anxious. You are such a superb woman, and friend. You are in our prayers

Hi Bear,Thank you so much for the wonderfully KIND words in your review. I'm sorry to hear you had a stroke and suffer from Bi-Polar Disease. My friend also suffers from it and I know the way she feels. I know the feeling of wanting to walk off a pier There are times I feel like doing the same thing. It's because of friends like you that I don't. I hope that you're doing well with both of your health problems. My prayers are always with you my friend. You are the nicest Bear I know! Bless You ....and a BIG HUG! Nancy :o)

Well done, Helvi! I like the formatting you give this one, it adds to the effect.

I've had the mildest sort of anxiety/stress - and I know how that warps your life, so I can sympathise with you suffering the real thing.

No nits or suggestions, good luck in the contest!

Yes, the final word shows up, and what a wallop it packs!
Wow, this one little sentence says a heck of a lot about the debilitating nature of anxiety, that it extends beyond infinity's reach. I do hope you are ahead in your battle against it. You are a talented writer!

I've got to say that this says it all. Wow! How impressive. This is something that I can relate to and how you have described it with so few words is exceptional. Great job.

Hi Sally, The only thing I could think of when I wrote this was the strength anxiety has. It only seems to grow when your having an attack. There is no end. Thank you for the incredible review I am extremely honored. I'm sorry to hear that you or someone you care about suffers from this too. .....ANd speaking of anxiety... this is the second time I've written this to you...My first attempt to say Thank You completely vanished after I clicked ok. When it came back to the review page there was nothing there....That's anxiety for you. Bless you heart for the review and a HUGE HUG. I hope this goes through this time. Helvi :o) ....One more thing... I was told by another reviewer my profile was covering the last word, did you have any trouble? Thanks, Helvi :o)

Yes, it can only be seen in print mode. I recommend that you place that in the top part by your title. That way people can see it the way it should be seen.

    You're welcome, by the way.

HI empi, :o) Those are the exact words ( I'd rather have Cancer.) my lawyer said. I can relate to them because I've lost out on many things in my life because of it. It's different from regular anxiety because it never goes away. I hope that explanation helps. :o) If this helps anyone learn a little more about biological anxiety than these six words have done their job. I can understand why this is something you have to think about. No problem! I'm happy you gave it thought. Bless You, Helvi :o)

BY the way someone told me they can't read the last word because it's covered by profile. Did you have a problem? :o)

I would say that from many six worders I have read this one states a vast message. Excellent work. I do believe you will have my vote.
