YOu write a fantastic action sequence. It is full of very vivid imagery, keeps a ferorcious pace, and the reader on the edge. Well done.

Had to read this chapter, after reading the other. It was great. The descriptive narrative puts the reader right amid the action. Held my interest from start to finish. I particularly liked the para' starting "Go away," Great read.

Thank you. I wasn't sure it would work. I could see it working in a film, but the written word slows it all down, so I'm glad you liked it.

The opening dialogue is wonderful! :-)
I had a little trouble keeping up with who was who character wise during the violent battles, but that's because I haven't read all of the other chapters!
ROTFLOL I loved the slang for wife - trouble and strife!
I will have to share that one with my husband.

Thank you. I can't lay claim to the slang, it is standard Cockney rhyming slang. I'm glad you liked it.
