I loved this. The imagery of all those beautiful orbs of light being prayers. This was one I needed to read tonite. Isn't it funny how sometimes the random poems we pick to read are just the very ones we need to read. Wonderful imagery in well-chosen language joan marie

I have never seen anything like this but I can imagine it was quite a sight indeed.
I didn't see any mistakes here. This is a very interesting example of how people can search for the presence of a creator; and although my views might not be identical to yours, I enjoyed this.

what a beautiful thought and so sweet of you to share it! I enjoyed the read and could find nothing to criticize. We all need to be reminded every now and then that we are loved! ann

Hi Jan,
Hope things are going well. I think you are right about us, today. We take much of what we can't see for granted. Things work, so why wonder. But I do think we miss out on little, inexplicable things, like your circles of light, because we are too busy NOT actually seeing what is around us.
Very nice, Jan. I went all ultra picky on you here:
Then I noticed while most of the light circles were coming down, some were floating up into the sky. (were coming/were floating - see if you can adjust one of these.)
That's it!
Take care,
Sissy

Hi Jan,
This is a great piece that you have here. You took the time to explained your thoughts. This was a easy piece to understand, since you only had a short time to write.
Excellent Work!

PS I am only up at 4.30am each morning with the farm work. Half days! I can work any 12 hours I want to! ;-)

As always, expertly written with great flow and imagery. I also agree with you, which after your reviewing of my "Telemarketers For God" post might surprise you.
But, the difference is I see no reason (hmmm, interesting I should use that word given that line in this post) to believe in any God based on the organized religions of the world. There is no proof -- none difinitive anyway -- any one of them has it right.
Although we can't discount the wonderous beauty we see around us, can we? Or, as you mention, the numerous accounts of near-death experiences of so many.
The question for me is, exactly what are they describing that's so beautiful?
Nobody knows until their time comes, at least that's how I see it.
Take care.

Hi Jan,
YOu know what? You don't need to apologize for the length - or lack thereof in your eyes - of your postings. It's better to have a little something of yours than nothing at all. Terrific reading. Thanks. :)
Happy farming.
Always,
David

This is a wonderful write you have done. I know there are angels around us and I do believe if we are still long enough God will speak to us. Great job my friend. Love, Teri
