So true. In the presence of great sorrow, words lose their power and meaning. But "Connected in Spirit, Disconnected by circumstance" brings in an element of mystery that perhaps will remain one. A very nice one.

Bang up to date poetry, and extremely well done too. This carries the context of your notes extremely well, but it would be perfect without the notes too.
Enjoyed every bit of this fine read.

Effectively composed to bring home to the reader the depth of the pain and the confusion of the situation. The word "irreversible" is especially poignant to close the piece with a powerful impact. Emotionally charged and intense, I am sure this poem will speak deeply to numerous readers.
This stanza is lovely and refreshing:
Yet, across the miles,
Upon a summer's sweet breeze,
In the soft whisper of the night wind,
I feel your sorrow,
I embrace your grief,
And I pray that somehow,
In the midst of such indescribable despair,
You will find
Comfort, Strength, and Faith
Nice poem, KT!
Warm regards,

Diane,
yes, we are all connected. It is hard to explain but i knew most of the people in Austin. I knew where they lived and where they worked.
It is a small world after all!
The theme is nice. The arrangement is done well. The flow is smooth. The descriptive words are well chosen. I liked the formatting.
There were no homophones, no spelling or grammatical errors.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

Well written and easy to read and feel. It is very hard when we have a wall that is built. It is how to break it down. Such a sad story. Thanks, Jeanette

What a gem you've written. I love it.
Your poem is very profound, it makes you think.
Excellent use of words.
I hope we don't remain silent at other people's pain.
Words of comfort and strength would do wonders.

Highly philosophical, yet poetic! You have infused subtle thoughts into it. It is not only noticeable in its form but also in its content . The poem is loaded up to brim with very powerful thought provoking lines.
Bless you

Paradoxical title adds to the meaning.

You have caught well the tendency of human beings to make the ephemeral moment everlasting. I think, if I am reading the poem right, we constantly need to re-establish connectedness with others. You illustrate the true meaning of spiritual forgiveness.

Very well written. And you do have a good point. You become so connected with people. My ex fiancee was my best friend the only person I could really talk to about anything and when we broke up I didn't know who to trust from there. There can be such a connection with a person and I fear of trusting others who you know you can't trust or are afraid to find out if you can trust.
Well done!
