snodlander, are you certain that you're not a cynic? She should have just said, "I don't"! Good six word story which could easily be expanded. Best of luck in the contest. By the way, IT trainer does not sound glamorous. ;o)sr

    Ha! You say that now, but you don't know the thrill of clustered indexes, nor the excitement of normalising a database to the third form.

    I'm not sure expanding it would add much, not without changing the nature of the story. besides, it wouldn't fit the contest rules 8^)

I love your story. It is filled with humor even though the subject is a serious one. When reading the story you can visualize seeing a bride at the altar with her fingers crossed behind her back. Very good and light hearted story. Job Well Done!! Ida B

That may be true. Many give up too easily on marriage and
are ready to throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble. Good luck in the contest.

Wow what a story! And in six words at that. This
sounds like the mentality of so many young brides
this modern day. Of course we still have sincere
and honest pledges in 'Til Death Do We Part. Thank God.

LOL so true snod so true. i have said before, i thought i was marrying for life the first time. eventually i came to realize i was married for the life of the marriage. Blessings. L&P2U
