Excellent work! Very profound story in only six words. And, oh, so true. Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." And you said it in less words! (smile) That should make your proud. As a reviewer, I see nothing to add to or change about this work. Good luck on the contest!

Very profound statement, and so true. We learn something everyday, no matter how old we get. Great entry.
Good luck in the contest.

Alvin,
A lot of meaning in these few short words. Hopefully, we
continue to learn and grow all during our lives. That's what makes
life seem more purposeful. Good luck on the contest.

Yes, you "caught" exactly what I wanted to convey. Thanks for a good review.

This is a very good contest entry you have penned Al. It is very true to a certain degree. If we just sit around not learning then our minds die. God bless and good luck. Teri

Yes, that's true. That's something we have lost since medieval times. Simplicity was valued then. Thanks for a great review.

This is very well said, and I do believe that, unfortunately, it takes the wisdom of age to realize your six words. Thank goodness we are never to old to learn. Well done.

yes, I think it does. I know of young people who don't think anything that happened before their time and culture is important. How sad. Thanks for a great review.

Excellent, Alvin! And not just because I agree with you. LOL It isn't always easy to get something across in six words, especially one of life's truths, but you did it. Good luck in the contest. I will watch for it.

Yes, I was hoping it didn't sound too didactic or aphoristic! Thanks for the great review and for reassuring me.

Master ATE,
Well, perhaps shading the premise with a contraction.
The thought is the salient point, also as a maxim well presented as a tenet of a considered life.
The principle is the basis of every life improvement program, too.
This is an interesting entry that should do well.

Thank you. I talked to the originator of the contest, and she said it was OK to use contractions as one word. Thanks for a great review.

Life has more in common with a shark than people think. A stagnate non moving one is just slow death. A veyr good contest entry.

Hi Alvin
I have heard that said before.
And I think it is one of the truest things ever spoken.
Hard to review six such perfect words!
Marion.

Thanks for a great review. Yes, I have heard it all my life, but I don't think there is one particular person who said it. But you are right; it is so true.
