Hello, unusual contest, but this certainly meets the critieria and as an amateur pianist, I think this would work well as lyrics. Best of luck with this entry. Good author notes fill in any gaps for the reader also.

What a great reply to the Barbara Mandrell song. It kind of evens the score a bit, girls, doesn't it. I think its witty and clever and fun. Very well done, Rdfrdmom. This is really as good a piece as i usually find on here and not an easy form to master.

thanks, starpen. I love Barbara's music and was actually looking for another one of her songs when I happened upon this one. Since I live so close to Jamestown, I just could not resist this one although I downloaded about 20 other songs to play with. I never even tried another one. My brain kept insisting on working with this one. Love, Jan

Oh, I love how you have changed the lyrics of this song to pretty much say the opposite of the original. I'm thinking this song will never make it to the charts. LOL Good luck on the contest. I do not see anything I would change.....unless you want to sing it for us so we can hear the rhythm and beat. Just kidding. God bless.
