Mike, missed this one, sorry, I cannot begin to get this totally because I do not really know about the politics of your area, but the writing and the touch you have on this work with your emotional and intellectual embrace made it an interesting read..much love for a beautiful day, twomoon

Thank you very much for stopping by and this one is actually about the hiprocasy and favortism that exists in the art community supporters. Thank you very much for the compliments and this review. Hugs, Mike

I finally made it, I was stranded in Ohare for a day as the storm shut down the airport and the TSA left a love letter in my backpack saying that the had to search the pack. I think that went well but they had problems figuring out how to put everything back and that delayed our flight. Ohare is a trip. I want to be here so bad, it seems Murphy's law kicked in.

But I am hear and enjoy things very much. Beautiful county. Hugs and love Two. Mike

Very talent write, you really told the story well, in verse form. I really liked the end and laugh a lot. I hope you send this to that committee, they really should see it.

I'm sure that somebody will. The funny things is the Baltimore Sunpapers are hugs and kisses with an article or column everyday for Frank Zappa. I am a fan, but it is amazing the difference between the two. Thankyou very much for your compliments and this review.

Hello Mike! Wow...what a challenging work this must have been. I enjoyed the read...everything from the title to the author's notes. Zappa song titles are a hoot!
Smiles,

Boy, that was long. I'm not much for poetry myself but I really think you did a good job with this one.

Hey Mike this is quite the epic! Well done and fascinating, to say the least. I loved all the author's notes about your dad's dealings with the lllustrious Mayor himself! All in all, a great write. Oh, and I love Frank Zappa ... Brown Shoes Don't Make It was one of my favorites!!

Yea, Mayor Schaefer was quite a character. Dad brought this out in a lot of people, believe me. My favorite albut was Apostrophe', we had an irritating new agey guy at work and Comic Debris worked quite easily. He sold everybody on this super algea and we all ended up smelling like a pond. The funny thing about this vegetarian was, anything with meat disappeared at night when only he works. I guess in his case it meant he didn't buy meat. The Junk Food Junkie song aslo became shopwide popular. Jude, thank you very much for the compliments and this review. Mike

This is an interesting view on the Baltimore Art Commission. Your poem points out both sides of this statue debate. This was very well written, and you explained in good details the issues that accompany the statue debate. I could find no errors, thanks for sharing.

You use a lot to bring out your message and it really helped. I like the author notes and have a pretty solid idea on what your poem means thanks to them. Great write.

"As my dog told me, "the crux of the
biscuit is the apostrophe."
In Baltimore, it's not the statues,
but this tail is wagged by
Baltimore's Art Commission,
that is plain to see."

Nice end to an already excellent piece. Me thinks you accomplished something real. Five star stuff.

This is one of the hardest poems that I penned and it was a very nice treat and I enjoyed how much fun people got out of this. For instince, one reviewer wrote, "The crux of the biscuit is your apostrophe, you forgot to include one in lets." lol Thank you very much for sharing with me your favorite, your compliments and this review.

What's the big damn deal? I don't get it. Put statues up for everybody, or don't. Does it matter? Geeeeeez...there are real problems in the world.

Check out our newspaper online and you will discover that unfortunately the real problems are handled the same way the statues were. Both types of problems are always looked at, then commissioned, then the solution is more like abstract art. Thank you very much for the compliments and ths review.

Wow, that was a longer read than I had anticipated. The author notes were of interest and served well in complimenting your poem and artchoice. I've certainly nothing to critique and noticed no possible spag issues. I thank you for sharing. Take care.
