LateBloomer, America will never be out of gas as long as we have politicians. Oops, I am wrong. It's poop we'll never run out of. I apologize. We should have run out of patience with this whole gas issue by now and chosen to do something about it besides gripe, for sure. Good luck in the contest.

Hello Rdfrdmom2, You're correct on both accounts, gas and poop ... hmmmm which one do you think comes first??? LOL - This is getting too funny.

What a timely entry for this day and age. We are outraged at the price-madness that's going on and it helps to see a bit of humor in the situation. You didn't mark this as humorous, but sometimes in a dire situation, appreciating the funny side of something relieves a lot of stress. I think you may have helped some people cope a little better with something we can do very little about.
Best wishes for the contest.
(I also found your A Notes to be very memorable.)

I sure appreciate the multiple meanings of these words. This has a great potential to be a many-faceted story. Adam Uh Oh, I'm told that this is too short a review. Sorry.

Hello Adam, It's amazaing that we can be challenged in a contest to write a "story" in six words, but the review must be a few lines long. Anyway,
man still has a brain. They say that there more than one way to skin a cat.
Well, there's more than one way to outsmart a computer! Thank for the reveiw.

This six worder is very clever. It indeed tells a story... one that most of us are familiar with. Its meaning can be taken in several ways.
Wishing you all the best-

Very contemporary issue, great artwork. Good poem.
Six word stories are difficult. You have found a way to make it interesting.
Very well done.

Too true and very poignant. The way the world is going now we will be out of gas - figurativley and lierally - before long. This is an excellent offering in the six word contest.

I love this one! I just saw on CNN that two cities in the US are selling a gallon for $4.00! Where will it all end. It's just as bad in Canada. The picture's priceless too. Great contender for the contest.

Thank you. The rise in fuel costs will not stop until, we the people, put up the stop sign and do some things to change that will hit the oil companies in the pocket. Give up our cars (or multiple cars), car pooling, and good old-fashion walking and biking. I would like to see the shopping malls closed once again on Sunday and give us all a day of rest ... if not to worship - then to spend it with family and NOT SPEND it driving.
I have changed my habits. There was a time, if I wanted something from the store, I would simply go and get it. Now I say ... hmmmmm do I really need that "right" now or can I get it at another time. It's it's something that I wanted to have with dinner, I now look to an alternative that I may already have in the house.
Until we put the STOP SIGN up, things will not change.
Thank you for your thoughtful and generous review

This is a strong statement about the world status on gas. It would be a good title for a story. The truth is - we are not out of gas. We are being gouged.

Gouged is the word ... Actually that would have also made a great title. Until we, the people, put the stop sign up, the prices will continue to soar. Prices will not begin to decline until "demand" declines ... it the old ... supply and demand theory. At this point oil/gas is as vital to American as pure drinking water and "they" know it. Thanks for the great review. Regards, LateBloomer
