I liked that this little piece of prose actually had a story line.
The idea was well conceived and provoked some interesting thoughts as to why she crossed the road.

It seems your wife is in a hurry to let go of your hand and cross the street to a new life. Very life changing and sad.

Ha ha . Sounds like they're doing something they shouldn't be. And married at that. It's hard to write a long review on poems this short. Good luck Amada.

Great entry for the contest. Story can be interpreted in a multitude of ways....I kind of see the movie version. Lots of potential with only six words.
Be well,

I feel so dense. I have read your six words six times, and I still can not grasp the meaning. It is just a blank for me. Are you saying she gets hit by a car? That is my only thought. Good words to make the reader think.

Thank you for reading it and letting me know. Everyone can have a difficult interpretation, or not at all. It's was just a fun entry.

Whoa! Talk about a story fraught with danger, hair-raising close calls and forbidden assignations...and all encapsulated in six words! Great contest entry.
Best regards,
Eleiece K.

No one can resist reading six words with such a generous reward. But what's happening here? Husband and wife go separate ways? This can be interprated in many ways. I may give this a try as well. Good luck, amada.

This opens itself up to all sorts of interpretations, and I like that you involved the read in the interpretation. Is she crossing the street fast because of oncoming traffic or because she wants to be rid of her husband?
"Unholding hands" would imply the latter, but I still think the former interpretation is an option.
