Reviewing six word poems is tough. However judging by some of the ones I've read here this is a little lacklustre. Whilst as you say, it's honest it doesn't really make the reader think - and I guess that's what I look for in a poem - of any length. I don't really know what to suggest to say the same thing and give it more strength in six words. Perhaps turning it round,"God, family and friends I love!" for example might give it a bit more something.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

You are very true.
You don't need to accept what I said.
I was merely expressing an honest opinion and I tried to be constructive. Beauty - as they say - is in the eye of the beholder and I do feel everyone has a right to express their thoughts. We can't please everyone all the time - and what a boring world we'd live in if we did.
I read and commented on all of the 6 word memoirs last night - there were some very strong ones and I thought they deserved more stars.
I've now joined the site as a full member and am about to put a couple of my poems up for peoples perusal. I hope for honest and critical feedback for them. I'm not expecting everyone to like them as I'm sure they won't be everyones cup of tea, but I am going to take on board all comments and hopefully grow - both as a writer and as a person from the experience.
I'm looking for the cut and thrust of lively debate and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this site will not turn out to be a mutual adoration society where everyone daren't be honest for fear of causing offence.
That aside I hope that people will be polite and helpful, just as I aim to be in my reviews. I'm putting all the weight of my years of professional writing experience into my reviewing in the hope that it will be of some small assistance to others.
Sorry that you didn't find anything constructive in what I said.
That's life I suppose

Chris, I would imagine that this contest being only for six words made me feel the way I did. I did not see a better way to say what I wanted to say. Not what somebody else wanted me to say. Understand?

Sometimes the cursor slips...sorry about that. usally i write pretty in depth reviews. this one ws shortened due to th unintentional delete.
I think what i had written was that the content was very good but that the presentation lacked the originality and inventiveness that might help it qualify to win the contest.

I don't know that I consider these to be poems either, but they are not without merit.
