A very deep and profound thought. Not a lot I can say about that. However, you will find that this review is longer than your six words because Tom the Taskmaster will not accept a short review even for very short pieces!

Yes, but I have seen three hundred page books written about an eleven syllable haiku! Thank you for saying this a deep and profound thought.

I was left guessing 'who'?, but then maybe most of your other readers would get it. If nothing else the six words did make me think...

The "who" is I. Sometimes I feel that only God really know me. Thanks for a good review.
-
I feel dense. Does make sense and the reader can apply to themselves also. Thanks for clarifying... J
-
You are definitely not dense. The poem is meant to have a multivalence of meaning.

Exceptional seems to be the term for so many of the entries in this contest. Certainly yours is well earned. Good luck. ann

Hi, Alvin,
On first read this feels almost enigmatic itself - but it isn't, it's more that this contest makes us laconic. It brings a strong sense of isolation that yet knows it is not alone, there is someone who knows him inside out.
Very good work - good luck in the contest!
Cheers,
Louise

Very nice entry, Alvin!
Now, pardon me while I fill up this space with meaningless words to satisfy the FS mythical reviewing beast. LOL

Hello Friend! Your six word autobiography speaks a great deal of truth; the older I get, the more I realize that. I am often reminded of the sociologist, Charles Horton Cooley, and his Looking Glass Self theory: When standing in front of a mirror an individual sees three selves: the person he sees, the person others see, the person he hopes others see. . .but only God really sees all. Be well....diane

I had never heard that quotation before. It's a great one. Thanks for a good review.

He must have been lonely then.
Sorry - couldn't resist that. 'Tis tough to write an objective review about a six word piece of work though.
This poses a great many of questions - with lots of possible answers - it makes me think - which in my book makes it a good piece of writing.
Cheers

Yes, I like to involve the reader in the writing of my poems. There are many possible interpretations and the reader is left to interpret the work for her/himself.

For so few words, it is a powerful message.
An interesting idea - six word memoir - and you have done it well.
Well done and good luck.

Thank you; it wasn't easy to put all of my life in six words! Thanks again for your good review.
