I honestly do not know if this is an established form or not. I do not care either, it is well written and very deep. No we must not ever forget.

I have had some questions as to the name of this style. As for me, I could not care less, I write what comes out of my head. If I had to name everything, I'd never write again!
    Thanks for the wonderful review.

Great poem, very deep. Imagery was perfect, flow was good too. I love ryhming poems, not a lot of people write them anymore, it's all I ever write. May we never forget that horrible event.

Glad to hear there are some of us left!To be honest, I don't understand prose, or non-rhyming poetry. That should be an oxymoron. Rhyming verse takes more effort, and there are a lot of lazy people out there who think they have talent.
Thanks for the great review and keep on rhyming!

Well whatever it is it brings back my memories of visiting a holocaust museum while vacationing in Israel several years ago.

So many pictures, so many horrors.
Death reigned, and the grave triumphed.

Let us pray that we never reach those shores again.

Good job,
Catharine

Dear Curt,

A visceral bloody indictment of war. Where have all the flowers gone, long time ago. We will never learn, we seem to repeat past mistakes again and again. Only this time like in Vietnam we are depending upon the poor, the elite go free.

Warm regards,

Winslow

I could not agree more with your statement. It never ceases to amaze me how history repeats itself. With greed in the forefront, it will always be that way.
    Thanks for your insightful comments.

Hi Curt. I like the message that this verse conveys.
Also, as it should, it certainly creates an image.
As for the format, for me, it is too "singy-songy". And, I mean just for me, but too much rhyme.

I understand your point. I feel the same way about non-rhyming popetry. It reads like a book made into poetry form to me. Someone once said that prose was for those who could not rhyme all the time. I don't know if it's true, but it does seem a lot easier to write something without than with.
    Thanks again,

Curt,

You are right. We should never forgot the horrors. The picture
also graphically displays the suffering and pain. Your imagery is very vivid.

Hullo Curt Mongold ...

Whether or not, this is an established poetic format doesn't really matter because you have written this very well and it was a pleasure to read.
Your unusual rhyming scheme is interesting.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
With love from ..... Nanette Mary.

It doesn't really matter to me, I was just curious by all the replies as to how unique this piece is to them.
    Thanks for your kind comments,

Curt, firstly, this is very very well done and is affective. I myself, was thrown a bit by the many rhytmes within a line. (Opps!) Good job though. :0)

LOL i wish i could tell you the form but alas i am not poetry expert either. i write what i like. i read what i like. i like this one. easy to read and follow. no spaggies do i see. imagery is excellent. sad, that people are still dying but not quite in such a bold in your face manner as the cremas. keep up the good work~

Thanks for the wonderful review! Are you saying then it is an established form? I can't believe I could be the only one to write that way.

Your piece is deep and carries a great message to all humanities.

"A case the human race can't face"

Sometime we failed to understand the meaning of our existence. War can do nothing except horror and discomfort. Well done.

Thank you for your comments. I have to agree with you, nothing will ever change unless we scrap our entire greed based society and start over.
