jaundiced kismet
lames minds normally open

It is not easy to write an A-Z poem that makes sesne. Yours certainly does. I love the above lines. The jaundice and the kismet are opposites normally. Then we have lame minds contrasted with openness.
well done

Yes, I think you were the only ones to catch the contrast. It was subtle, but intentional. Thanks for a good review.

Thanks. I have many abecedarians (there's a debate on how to spell it) in my portfolio. My favorite one is "Sherman."

Once again I have stumbled upon a completely different form of poetry that I had not seen before. Thank you for writing the author notes, that made the whole thing clear, without it I was a little lost. It is done exactly how you described it to be done.

Thank you for a great review. Yes, I have several abcedarians in my portfolio. They're not easy to write.

Love the abcedarian Alvin! These are always fun although hard.
Let us hope that the next man..or woman in the white house will end at least the war in Iraq and bring our soldiers home! Great job as always.

Yes, I agree. I was just thinking of you today when I read "easy everett"'s latest post (see my review.) By the way, how is publishing your series of stories coming along? Thank you for an excellent review.

Yeah, this war is an outrage, and it is all about money, greed and oil I fear. Not things worthy of our soldiers lives. Very heinous. Well said. Bravo

This was a perfectly written poem according to the rules laid (layed) (who knows?) out in your author's notes. Yes, the subject of Iraq is definitely sad.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

I think it is "laid." But yes, when I saw this contest on "sad poems" I could not help but think of the young men and women killed in Iraq before they even had a chance to live. Thanks for a good review.
