Don't fret, I understand exactly and it can become very frustrating. Miluska is a perfect example,I joined late april of last year, I would open her works and then close them, even considering her a crazy woman. Then in July I attened a poetry convention and learned more, especially the rules (Which really couldn't be taught in a seminar) and the fact that poetry is so much more expansive then one could possible imagine. I opened her works and determined to decipher them, would post them on a wall at work, looking at them six or seven times. Then I began to understand them, they use imagery as double and even triple entendre's. Then I started reviewing and even inquired personally. She's the reason that I have direct links to an online unabridged dictionary and the wikopedia. This type of poetry is a language in itself and it turns out, though I don't hold any degrees we have similar knowledge and experience.

She gave me the courage to try my hand at it and it completely changed the way I saw things. Basically combining all of the treads of what I was taught. Click all and in my portfolio is a poem, "Oils." I had to match the best image to convey my feelings, not many people know of pointelism so I describe how that appeared, but a description of a famous painting would have detracted, so I used the artist name and a clue. That turned out very well. That is also why I include notes, I'm like a kid in this and I enjoy including the forensics and logic of the poem.

Thank you very much for your generous review and compliments, also sharing what you liked. This site is not only living poetry, but filled with people who take the time to help. I'd say feel free and enquire if something a poet does inspires you or you have a question. Also going through the other reviews is a big help.

As always, thank you very much for your compliments and review. Mt art gallery never has any locks, much like the way I feel a church should be, with just a nobel steward.

You are absolutely correct, this is the third antandre. She was beautiful and how another person can totally destroy it, even in the recesses of one's mind. I didn't correctly convey my intended meaning in the last part and did rework it twice. The reality was, no matter how bad it got, I felt God's hand on my shoulder reassuring me that, beauty will enter my life, even this was against logic. You know what, I now meet the most beautiful people I never thought that I would... and it keeps comming. Humbled I am. You wind stirred something within me, posting it soon. I feel those hugs when I need them. Thanks.

Mike you are so welcome...ah..the wind, yes, I love the wind, even the biting wind..it slaps us waking us up and saying hello!...when justmade said the Marattan was there I said what is that, when he told me dust winds, well, smile, you know me..on to the research of it...nature is incredible, all forms of it..beauty in all things, I always say, infact, I never liked the title of "Beauty and the Beast", I always thought it should have been Beauty in the Beast....hugs for a beautiful day Mike..

Thank you so much, I appreciate them. I love the background that you give for your inspiration. Oh! The chained letters of poetry, bind humanity with you and me!

This is really a great piece with beautiful imagery.

Only God, is the only one that pushes
me, or puts his hand on my shoulder
to show me what I should see.

Fascinating write and very impressive.

I'd call it a love hate relationship, I put my burdens in His hands and seek to opperate with his understanding. It isn't always easy or very comfortable, but in the end turns out to be the best way. Thank you very much for your compliments and review.

Never, never let anyone touch your work, my knight, none of my teachers ever did, they only suggested. Let him paint his own. Repaint what's lost, rekindle.
Love,
Mila

I guess I must be nuts, because I understood your piece, and thought you did a very good job describing the differences.

You author notes were very interesting, I enjoyed reading them. You made it quite clear the differences of the personalities and attitudes...I find people that are financially well off are often looking for people with the "will to try" and that is why they often want to encourage.

Thanks for sharing this piece, it did take 2 readings to completely understand, but I got the message,

Take Care...

Thanks for sharing,

Well then, thank you very much for your review and compliments as they are very much appreciated. Usually the type of people mentioned are too busy, but its very nice to have someone established pay a compliment or show interest or admiration, whether a sucessful venture or not (as nature photography turn out to be not), it at least shows you that your pointed in the right direction.

I didn't read the notes because i want to have my own interpretation. Good poetry is like that and this is very good. It reminded me of a man or woman who is bled from pain and the other person trying to change them. Overall, this is a blast. tj

Dear Mike,

It's not all that confusing, but it doesn't seem to be a poem as much as a little story. I see that it's sentences are broken into fragments and centered, but that doesn't seem sufficient to make it poetic, withouth the aesthetics of poetry. These free verse pieces are tough to meet that challenge.

Exactly, I was scared to death review them much less writing them, but a little from my fanstory friends helped me along. I did just complete some reworking. Thank you for the review.

You undertakings are only for yourself. < ithink you meant
Your undertakings ... like always you have a great deal of stories to tell when you put your thoughts together and you title it re-painting, one would think hinting on a do over.

Thank for the comemts and review, it did help to make things better. Evil Eddy Hehehehehe

I reworked it some more to better convey the meaning. This poem is about other people who feel who put their will over yours. This is what happened to me at work, things were working so the wife didn't get it all, so my employer decided to take the rest. The thing that has been lost out of the shop is its benevolence. I was in a half way decent mood and my reply was a bit of lighthearted humor. I didn't mean to offend. Maybe they will come across this and fire me so that I can completely change my life. Nothing more needs to be said.

Hi Mike,

Excellent write! VERY nicely done!

Yes - it was a bit confusing, so I really appreciate your author's notes. That was very nice of you to go to the trouble to explain the meaning here, to ensure your message is effectively conveyed.

And I applaud your integrity! BRAVO!

Nicely done, my friend.

Only one teeny suggestion:

"I won't be satisfied, until your "

S/b "you're" here.

Thanks for sharing.

WRITE ON,

Jan
